Welcome to RocTek Electric! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our electrical contracting services. By engaging with RocTek Electric, you agree to comply with the following terms.
1. Services
RocTek Electric provides electrical contracting services, including but not limited to installation, maintenance, and repair. All services are subject to availability, project approval, and compliance with Florida laws and regulations.
2. Estimates & Payments
• Estimates are provided based on the initial assessment and may be subject to change.
• A deposit may be required before commencing work.
• Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Late payments may incur additional fees in accordance with Florida law.
• In the event of an industrywide price increase for materials or equipment, RocTek Electric will issue a notice to inform the client. All such price increases will be passed along to the client and reflected in the final invoice.
3. Warranty & Liability
• We guarantee our workmanship for a period of one year from the completion date.
• Warranty excludes damage due to misuse, modifications, natural disasters, or third-party interference.
• RocTek Electric is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from our services.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
• A cancellation fee may apply for last-minute cancellations.
• RocTek Electric reserves the right to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, including extreme weather events common in Florida.
5. Permits & Compliance
• RocTek Electric will obtain all necessary permits unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
• The cost of obtaining permits will be paid for by the client unless explicitly specified otherwise in the service agreement.
• All work will be performed in compliance with the Florida Building Code, the Florida Electrical Code, and all applicable local, state, and national electrical regulations.
• Any changes or modifications requested by the building inspector that are not specified in the original plans or scope of work will be considered additional work and will be billed separately at an additional cost.
6. Hurricane & Storm-Related Services
• Due to Florida’s weather conditions, emergency electrical repairs after storms or hurricanes may be subject to increased demand, affecting service availability and response times.
• Pricing for emergency services may vary based on urgency and scope of work.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts within the state.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any modifications.
